B&B Electrical & Utility Contractors has been in continuous operation since 1982. We were founded on the principle of outstanding customer service and quality workmanship. These principles still ring true today as reflected in our core values: Safety, Quality, Integrity, Professionalism.

B&B was founded in 1982 as a small residential electrical services provider. Not long after the company’s establishment, B&B began to venture into the commercial electrical space, and also began installation and maintenance of various municipality and county sports lighting systems. B&B Electrical Contractors was incorporated in 1985.

In 1994, B&B expanded its service offerings to offer services to electric utility providers. B&B Utility Contractors, Inc., was the product of that expansion. Incorporated in 1995, B&B Utility Contractors began its utility offerings with street light maintenance, overhead distribution and underground distribution. In 2002, B&B incorporated the sister companies, B&B Electrical and B&B Utility, into one company, B&B Electrical & Utility Contractors.

Over the years, B&B has continued to add service offerings for the electric utility service sector.  B&B now offers overhead & underground distribution, substation construction, protection & control testing and commissioning, and substation device testing and maintenance.  In addition, B&B can offer full turn-key EPC project engineering, construction, and project management through our United Utility family of companies. B&B is headquartered in Canton, Mississippi with an additional offices in Nesbit, MS and Willis, TX. Though headquartered in MS, B&B is licensed and actively performs work for clients throughout the  Southeastern United States while responding to foul weather situations across the country.
